The classes are designed for language learners at every level of fluency. We help our students set goals and work together to achieve them. Every student has a different reason for wanting to learn English. Some of our students are learning English to feel more comfortable speaking in social settings, while others are working towards milestones such as citizenship preparation or workplace advancement. That’s why our program offers special courses such as:
- Citizenship preparation
- ESL for specific careers like culinary, healthcare, and childcare/early education
- Computer skills
- Public speaking
We also offer classes throughout the year that incorporate creative projects like writing personal essays and watercolor painting.
In addition to structured classes, students in need of extra help are matched with tutors for free classes conducted by community volunteers.
