YWCA Princeton Announces New Summer Programs and Locations for 2025

YWCA Princeton is proud to announce the launch of its new summer programs for 2025, along with exciting new locations to make our offerings more accessible than ever. These dynamic programs are designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and collaboration, empowering children to explore new interests and develop valuable skills.

This summer, students will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning through three unique programs:

Take a Bow: Summer Artist’s Lab
In Take a Bow: Summer Artist’s Lab, students will work together to create and perform their own theater productions based on four exciting themes: Folk Tales, Musicals, Superheroes, and Fairytales. With a focus on collaboration and creative expression, students will engage in writing, designing, and performing their shows, culminating in a recorded presentation for friends and family. The program emphasizes the power of teamwork, creativity, and the importance of bringing stories to life on stage. Everyone involved in this creative process deserves to take a bow!

STEMtastic Summer
STEMtastic Summer will inspire young innovators to explore the worlds of game design, engineering, and robotics. Throughout the week, students will develop hands-on projects that bring their ideas to life, all while building practical skills in science, technology, engineering, and math. This program encourages curiosity and creativity, offering a supportive environment for children of all skill levels to explore the exciting field of STEM.

Cultural Kaleidoscope
In Cultural Kaleidoscope, students will embark on a journey of global exploration without leaving Princeton. Each week will focus on a different country, allowing students to discover its food, music, folklore, and language. This program encourages young learners to embrace the diversity around them, fostering an understanding of how different cultures contribute to our shared world. It’s an opportunity to ask the important questions: How do we fit into our communities, and what can we learn from the diverse cultures of the world?

Expanding to New Locations
In addition to our new programs, YWCA Princeton is excited to expand our summer offerings to new locations, making it easier for families to participate in these enriching educational experiences. Whether you’re in central Princeton or beyond, our new sites ensure that more students can take part in these transformative programs.

“At YWCA Princeton, we believe in the power of learning through creativity, collaboration, and exploration,” said YWCA Princeton CEO Rose Wong. “Our summer programs are designed to inspire children and give them the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. With the addition of new locations, we are thrilled to make these opportunities more accessible to families throughout our community.”

Registration for all summer programs is now open. We encourage families to sign up early to secure a spot for their child in one of these exciting programs. For more information, including details about our new locations, or to register, please visit www.ywcaprinceton.org/summer2025
