Age Ranges
Children will enjoy a spacious and comfortable setting with a wide variety of manipulative toys and activities. The YWCA Princeton will provide cribs, high chairs, rocking chairs and toys, though parents should bring along a favorite toy, blanket, or comforting item for their child. Parents are responsible for diapers, wet wipes, an extra change of clothing, and baby food for infants, with instructions on feeding habits and times. ( please Label all items) Due to the 2 to 1 staff ratio for this age group and the equipment involved, enrollment is limited and on a first-come first-served basis, so parents should register as soon as possible.
Children will have the opportunity to engage in activities that include musical games, cooperative games, outdoor play, arts and crafts and much, much more. Parents may have their child bring a favorite stuffed animal or blanket and a change of clothes.
Children will be in a spacious area both for indoor and outdoor activities. There will be room for large and small group events, sports activities, and areas set up for crafts, board games, manipulative toys and much more.
Good to know:
Food
Healthy snacks are provided throughout the program as well as dinner served on both nights. Finger food and healthy snacks are provided for the preschool and school age children. Parents may feel free to bring alternative meals for their children.
Professional Development
Staff are American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid trained. They must pass a thorough screening process, which includes criminal background and reference checks, as well as six hour childcare training. The training covers, but not limited to, security issues, food allergies, developmental teaching, emergency procedures, covid-19 health protocols, etc.
While under our care, parents can take their child (ren) out of Tiger Childcare at any time, but for safety reasons parents MUST sign them in and out.
