In observance of Staff Development Day, children enrolled in the After School Program at Lawrence Township schools will spend the day at Lawrence Intermediate School.

2019 Stand Against Racism campaign will kick-off with Thought Provoking Talks, an special event where speakers share inspiring and poignant accounts of the racism they have experienced in their lives. Our keynote speaker will be Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson. The Assemblywoman will be joined by speakers Elizabeth Williams-Riley, President and CEO at American Conference on Diversity, Lauren Lalicon, the Policy Director for First Lady Tammy Murphy, and Caroline Clarke, Board Member of Not In Our Town Princeton. The event will be followed by for group discussions.
Join YWCA Princeton and Corner House Behavioral Health at Hinds Plaza to discuss and share experiences regarding racism through poetry and music. All are welcome to attend and participate!

Bring your friends and join us for a fun night of crafting! Everyone will be making their own customized cork coasters (set of 4) to take home. 100% of funds raised will go towards bringing the anti-bullying program to preschoolers at YWCA Princeton. The program, offered through the Kidsbridge Center, includes interactive activities for the students as well as an educational night for parents about bullying. Talking to children early about how to create inclusive environments is critical in preventing bullying. 100% of funds raised will go towards bringing the anti-bullying program to preschoolers at YWCA Princeton.
Please join YWCA Princeton’s Newcomers and Friends Club for the first Friday with Friends of the 2018-2019 session. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet old and new friends after a relaxing summer and to be reacquainted with Newcomers and Friends activity offerings. New members will be able to sign up for the Club, learn about the various interest groups and join the ones that best suits their interest. A tasty buffet lunch will be offered at $10.00 per person.
International Shimmy Mob – Princeton Chapter will be joining dancers around the world to raise awareness about domestic violence. Proceeds from dancers in the Princeton event go to support Womanspace Mercer County.

It’s time to celebrate the achievement of students who worked hard in the fiscal year 2018-2019. International food will be served after the awards ceremony. Students and their friends and families are invited. The teachers, volunteers and staff will be presenting awards for different categories.
