Our Young Wonders Child Development Center is a safe and nurturing childcare facility for children 8 weeks to 5 years. Our exceptional program emphasizes well-rounded learning, and as a result, your child will learn critical thinking, respect, independence, and problem solving – most of all, while having fun!
The childcare center utilizes The Creative Curriculum®, an award-winning, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. The most noteworthy aspect of this way of learning is that it enable children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills. This curriculum is nationally known for its forward-thinking, comprehensive and rigorously researched model and is designed to be suitable for English-language learners. We are located in two convenient locations – in Princeton and Hamilton. Our Princeton location accepts children 8 weeks to 6 years and our Hamilton location is for children 2½ to 5 years.

- Weekly swim lessons included with tuition for 3 and 4 year olds
- Dance (ballet, for children 3 years and older available during day) additional fee.
- Parenting workshops and anti-bullying initiatives offered throughout the year.
- Twice a year events include Parent-Teacher Conferences, the Scholastic Book Fair, and School Picture Days.
- Twice a day. healthy snacks are offered to students.

Our multicultural staff brings a myriad of talent, dedication and special learning opportunities that are not found in most childcare environments. We utilize the most recent editions of the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos, and Preschool. We also utilize the Get Set for School curriculum to assist our Preschoolers while they learn through active participation. By using hands-on, engaging materials and playful teaching strategies we make learning fun!!
In using the Creative Curriculum our program strives to develop “the whole child” by focusing on their social/emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development. In addition to the Creative Curriculum, our enrichment programs include yoga, music, and swimming as part of our regularly scheduled school day.

7:30 am to 6:00 pm
We offer a 3, 4 or 5 day schedule for all students and part-time hours for children 2.5yrs and up. Drop-ins are only available to current students.
We provide a morning and afternoon snack for children each day. Parents provide their child’s lunch.
The best form of communication is face-to-face. When that is not appropriate to give important messages to our parents, we rely on emails, our website, Facebook page, and our emergency hotline.
All of our teachers are Red Cross and CPR certified. Most of our Lead Teachers have a Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree. Many Assistants have their Associates, CDA, or are currently working on their certification. The center Director, Mary Traub, has her Master’s in Education and her Post Masters certificate in Leadership.
We adhere to the guidelines set by the NJ Office of Licensing for staff-child ratios.

The goal of discipline at the Young Wonders Child Development Center is to enable and encourage the growth of self-discipline within all our children. Since self-discipline is a slow process, children are disciplined in a positive manner and at a level that is appropriate for their age and actions. Self-discipline is achieved when a child can make appropriate decisions for themselves without being told which decision is correct and accept responsibility for those choices.

Yes. The oldest siblings get a 10% discount on their tuition.
We suggest that you put down the $200 deposit which will get you on our wait list. You will be contacted as soon as a space is available. If a space does not become available for that school year, the deposit will be refunded.
We require 30 days’ notice of withdrawal in order to apply your $200.00 Deposit to your last month’s tuition.
All payments are made through our EZChildTrack system. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as well as E-check. We can also take cash payments at our Information Desk

When storms or emergencies occur after students are at the center, it is sometimes necessary to send them home early. If the center closes early due to a weather related emergency, parents/guardians are responsible for picking up children from the center.
You will need to contact the childcare office ether by email or phone to let us know that your child will be out. All parents must notify us if their child is diagnosed with a communicable diseases.
We use the two-step sanitation procedure set up by the NJ Office of Licensing on all soiled surfaces.
