Parking Lot Resurfacing UPDATE

Categories: Blog

Due to some additional milling and prep work that was required, our parking lot resurfacing project will continue into July. Below please find details about the expected impact on parking and walking into the YWCA Program Building and Bramwell House over the next several days. Since weather and other circumstances may impact the schedule, please continue to check back here for the most up-to-date information.

Friday, June 22, 2018 (Fig. 1)
Only Child Development families should enter and exit in the light blue area. Families with infants (Sprouts and Rosebuds) may park in the few parking spots against the building (light blue polka dots). All other Child Development families (Butterflies, Cherry Blossoms, Daffodils, Dragonflies, Snapdragons, Sunflowers and Tiger Lilies) should drive into the circle (yellow arrows) where staff members will meet you at your car and escort your child inside. Please have your child seated in the passenger’s side of the car whenever possible. This will be the only day when your child will be met at your car. All other days, you will need to park and walk your child into the building.

All others (staff, teachers, members, visitors, guests) should enter, park and exit in the red area.

Please note that the sidewalk against the YMCA building connecting the red area to the light blue area will kept open as long as it is deemed safe to pass. When that sidewalk is closed, please use the sidewalk along the street.
