Summer Robotics Club – Week 1: Satellites

The Summer Robotics Club meets during the summer for 4 weeks, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a special Robotics/Science presentation on Wednesdays. The Summer Robotics Club is open to boys and girls, and includes a 360-degree immersion in STEM topics through indoor and outdoor activities, and stress-reduction exercises. Registration fee is $25 and tuition is $50 / week.Each weekly session is led by an expert and focuses on 1 of 4 major topics in STEM and Robotics with activities for students from 6-15 years. (Fees include all materials, hand outs and special presentations each week.).

Special Wednesday Presentation is open to learners of all ages, including all Princeton-area community members for a fee of $5 per talk. Free for Summer Robotics Club participants.

Hiking Club – BCRC
Jul 19 @ 11:30 am – 2:30 pm

Join the BCRC for a 4.7 mile hike at Tyler State Park. This hike will take approximately 2.35 hours with a lunch break. Elevation Gain: 500 ft. Open to breast cancer survivors.

All hikes:
– You must complete a fitness evaluation with Jennifer McGoorty, BCRC Fitness Coordinator, before participating in any hikes or fitness activities at the BCRC:  jmcgoorty@ywcaprinceton.org  or 609-497-2100 x 382.
– You should have recently walked or hiked this distance. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early. Hikes only take place with a minimum number of participants and weather permitting, so please register to receive updates!
– Bring 2 liters of water, a backpack of some sort is best so you don’t have to carry the water, tick & insect repellent.

International Healthy Potluck & Recipe Exchange – BCRC
Jul 19 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

The BCRC will be holding an International Healthy Potluck & Recipe Exchange for BCRC members. Bring a dish of your favorite recipe to share. Make sure to email the recipe and we will print copies to have next to the dish.

Please include the following with your recipe: prep time, cook time, ingredients, and steps. Feel free to also include a sentence or two about the origin of the recipe and why it is different.
