Chelsea Roberts, Administrative Assistant
As a Trenton native, Chelsea has lived and worked in Mercer County for much of her life. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in social work. As a woman of color, YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women resonates with her deeply. Chelsea is motivated to create safe spaces, particularly for women of color and the LGBTQ+ community to express themselves, share concerns, and ask for help. Her objective is to eventually create an online platform to provide advice, resources, and space foe self expression.
Megan Kaltschmid, Family Liaison Worker, The Burke Foundation Early
Childhood Center at YWCA Princeton
Also a New Jersey native, Megan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature with a concentration on pan African studies. She has previously held roles in early education, family services, and summer camps. She shared, “I was initially drawn to YWCA Princeton due to our dedication to community and informed childcare.”
Beverly Newbern, Finance Controller
Originally from Tennessee, Beverly has lived in New Jersey since 2006 and has worked in finance and accounting for over 15 years. She shared that she was drawn to YWCA Princeton due to our mission and presence in the community. Her favorite pastime is reading, and she’s looking forward to the 2023 Tribute to Women Awards!
