No matter where life has taken you, the HiSET® High School Equivalency exam gives you the chance to go in a new direction. Earn high school credentials and take the first step toward success in the work place and in college.

Get started. Sign up at www.hiset.ets.org for study materials, practice tests, and other important testing information. When you are ready to take the test, use your HiSET® account to choose the test site and register for your tests.
Be prepared. YWCA Princeton Learning Center offers review classes (log in here and search for HiSet Test Prep) and other support to help you get ready for the HiSET® exam. Instruction can help you to improve your reading and math skills, write an essay and develop test-taking strategies.
When you’re ready: Take the Test! Sign into the HiSET® account you created here www.hiset.ets.org in step 1 and find a test site near you and register for your tests.
The Parental Consent Form must be completed by any 16 and/or 17 year old individual who is currently not enrolled in a public/private high school and interested in taking the Adult Education Assessment. Before registering for the exam, this form must be signed by a parent/guardian, notarized, scanned and emailed to the Chief Examiner at firstname.lastname@example.org. The original must be presented to the Proctor at the testing center prior to taking the exam.
