No matter where life has taken you, the HiSET® High School Equivalency exam gives you the chance to go in a new direction. Earn high school credentials and take the first step toward success in the work place and in college.

Step 1
Get started. Sign up at www.hiset.ets.org for study materials, practice tests, and other important testing information. When you are ready to take the test, use your HiSET® account to choose the test site and register for your tests.
Step 2
Be prepared. YWCA Princeton Learning Center offers review classes (log in here and search for HiSet Test Prep) and other support to help you get ready for the HiSET® exam. Instruction can help you to improve your reading and math skills, write an essay and develop test-taking strategies.
Step 3
When you’re ready: Take the Test! Sign into the HiSET® account you created here www.hiset.ets.org in step 1 and find a test site near you and register for your tests.
Note:
The Parental Consent Form must be completed by any 16 and/or 17 year old individual who is currently not enrolled in a public/private high school and interested in taking the Adult Education Assessment. Before registering for the exam, this form must be signed by a parent/guardian, notarized, scanned and emailed to the Chief Examiner at hse@ywcaprinceton.org. The original must be presented to the Proctor at the testing center prior to taking the exam.
