A faithful examination and confrontation of critical dimensions of the disappeared, distorted and dishonest representation of some of the histories and realities of Black Princeton and Black lives. The presentation will focus on the early histories of Black students at Princeton University and Princeton Theological Seminary; the lingering legacies of liberation and lynching in the Witherspoon-Jackson neighborhood and how the history of struggle can inform and impact our modern movements for repair, reconciliation and the realization of right relationships locally and beyond.
