YWCA Princeton Privacy Policy
The YWCA Princeton is committed to maintaining the privacy of those who visit www.ywcaprinceton.org. The YWCA Princeton is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. This information will not be sold, or rented to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
To process on-line registration, it is necessary for the YWCA Princeton to have the customer verify name, email address, mailing address, phone number and credit card information. This data is used to verify identity and execute the financial transaction. Additionally, phone number and email address information may be used to contact members if there is a problem with the transaction. Credit card numbers are used only at the time of the transaction for which it is provided.
The YWCA Princeton provides links to other web sites. The YWCA Princeton is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Site visitors are encouraged to be aware when they leave www.ywcaprinceton.org and to read the privacy statement of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by www.ywcaprinceton.org .
Credit/Change/Refund Policy:
A $10 processing fee will be applied to all requests for credits, refunds, or changes. Credits are good for one year from date of issue.
One week before start of class:
Refund or switch to another class in any department.
Between one week and three days before start of class:
Credit or switch to another class in same department.
Three days before to one week after start of class:
Class change in same department only, requires department director’s authorization.
Illness or injury:
C
credit for unused portion of class given with presentation of doctor’s letter and written notification to department director (credit given from notification date).
Enrollment policies:
You are enrolled in your first choice unless the YWCA contacts you. You will be notified if you receive your second choice, or need to select a third choice. We can assure such notification in time for your first class if your registration is received two weeks prior to the start of the term. Applications are dated and proccessed as received.
Cancellations:
In the event that your class has been cancelled because of insufficient enrollment, the YWCA will notify you. You may transfer to another class or receive a full refund. Refunds take two to three weeks to process.
Scholarship Information
Bates Scholarship Fund:
The fund, created in memory of Pearl Bates, a former YWCA board member, provides scholarships for those needing financial assistance to participate in YWCA programs. Call the financial Aid Coordinator at (609) 497-2100, ext. 308 or come into the Registration Office for a scholarship application. Financial aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and only if funds are available. Applications must be accompanied by proof of income. Please attach the following: four consecutive pay stubs, or letters from each employer, and your most recent 1040 US individual tax return. If unemployed, please present documentation showing amount of benefits you are receiving.
The Bates Scholarship representative will contact you. Applications must be received at least 10 days prior to the start of classes. Applications with unanswered questions will not be considered.

Subsidies Information
The Membership Subsidy Program
To ensure the membership of the YWCA Princeton represents a broad cross-section of this community, 5% of the membership fees collected each year are made available to provide 50% membership subsidies to those who show financial need. Forms to apply for a membership subsidy are available on the YWCA website, in the YWCA Registration Office, or call the Membership Manager, (609) 497-2100, ext. 330, to have one sent to you.
