Aikido for Children and Teens
Girls and boys, ages 8-12, and 13-16. Kokikai Aikido students develop self-confidence, building their physical and mental fitness as they learn effective self-defense techniques. Working in partners, young people learn to respond to conflict in non-aggressive ways within the discipline of a martial art. For more information, visit www.princetonaikido.org.

Aikido for Adults

Judo

Karate
Youth, 6-16 years old, will train in the classical and practical martial art of Tang Soo Do, for better overall health and well-being, and to learn self-defense through real life scenarios. Tang Soo Do tenets include integrity, concentration, perseverance, respect, self-control, humility, and indomitable spirit.

Introduction to Tai Chi
This class will introduce the principles of Tai Chi, which combines the mental benefits of meditation with the physical discipline of the martial arts. Tai Chi emphasizes finding new sources of strength through internal harmony. The practice of Tai Chi forms helps develop health, awareness, stamina, suppleness and balance. This is a class in the Chen style, which is the oldest form of Tai Chi.
