Pucker Up and Go Pink for BCRC on National Lemonade Day

Are your kids bored yet? Does your office need a pink Friday pick-me-up? August 20 is National Lemonade Day and we want you to Pucker Up & Go Pink for BCRC!

Get the kids to set up a lemonade stand, gather the neighbors for a lemonade party, or set up a pitcher of the pink stuff in place of your office coffee pot.  Charge for each glass (you set the price) and donate your proceeds to BCRC.  The funds raised will help the YWCA Princeton Breast Cancer Resource Center support local women and families affected by breast cancer with free programs and services including support groups, private counseling, wigs/prostheses, financial assistance, wellness activities and personalized information packs.

It's as easy as 1-2-3!
  1. Register your lemonade stand!  Email us to let us know who is doing a stand and where it will be (ie. Emma and Katie Smith at Sked St Park in Pennington OR Jane Doe at ABC Company in Princeton).
  2. Advertise!  Click here to download and print a flyer kids can use at their lemonade stand or you can email to your colleagues, neighbors or friends. Hand write (for that personal touch!) details of your lemonade stand fundraiser here in the empty box.  Who are you? What time? Where? How Much?
  3. Make your lemonade!  See below for a traditional pink lemonade recipe (or pick up a bottle or can of the frozen stuff from the supermarket!).  If you want to up the "pink factor" add pink cupcakes, cookies, or popcorn balls with pink marshmallows, and pink cups/napkins to your stand.
Your donation should be delivered to BCRC the week of August 23rd (9am-5pm) in cash or check (payable to YWCA Princeton BCRC).

Kids can also receive a volunteer service letter for school.
