Are YOU Taking a "STAND"?

Racism Hurts Everyone. Take a Stand for Peace, Justice, Freedom, and Dignity.

The Stand Against Racism is a few days away! (Friday, April 27, 2012).

There are two ways you can take a "Stand":

The local community is welcome to join us for a video presentation of "The Princeton Plan: 50 Years Later" -  about desegregation of the Princeton public schools.  Guest Speakers will be Ms. Shirley Satterfield and Mr. Henry Pannell.

Additional Stand Activities:

The Princeton Human Services Commission and The Cranbury Station Galleries are co-sponsoring a Gathering in Palmer Square Green from 8:15-8:45am (in front of the Nassau Inn, Princeton).

Those who are able are encouraged to walk at the close of the Gathering at 8:45am to the YWCA Princeton Program beginning at 9:00am.

The YWCA's Stand Against Racism 2012 is a collaboration of YWCA Associations throughout the country with the goal of bringing people together from all walks of life to raise awareness that racism still exits. We are expecting that over a quarter million people will take a Stand Against Racism on April 27, 2012.
