Arts and Crafts:

Books By Moonlight - A relaxed evening Book Club that meets in a local eatery to discuss recent novels, classics, and the occasional non-fiction book.
 
Book Talk - Join a lively discussion of books chosen by the participants.  Discussion questions are provided.
 
Article Discussion - This group clips and saves articles that they find interesting to discuss at meetings once each month.  Members bring copies for the group to read which is followed by a lively discussion of a current event or other topic of interest.
 
 

Artsy Fartsy - Express your artistic side! Join the fun as we explore jewelry making, photography, pottery painting and more!

M2 Material Meditations - A companion activity for Pins and Needles for those interested in visiting craft shows, specialty shops, studios and showrooms that feature textiles and other hand crafted items.

Pins and Needles - Meet in members' homes to work on your needlecraft projects.  Members share various needlework techniques and learn new ones.  Many fun activities are planned.

Eat, Drink & Be Merry:

Great Decisions - Members meet to discuss current affairs following a book published by the Foreign Policy Association.
 
International Insights - We become armchair travelers while enjoying a potluck lunch together.  Each month we will learn about a different foreign land and have a small taste of its culture.
 
ESL Conversation - We will focus on improving English skills of listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and social customs.  Dotty, an experienced ESL teacher, will offer social activities and provide handouts.
 
Spontaneous Special Events - Lectures, exhibits, concerts and more come through the area all the time.  Join this group to learn where we'll be going next!
 
Tech Talks - The Tech Talks are a series of learning experiences designed to bring members up to date on the latest applications of technology.
 

Couples Dine In/Out - This is an opportunity for members and their partners to just socialize while enjoying a meal together.  The group meets on the fourth Saturday of the month.

Tea Time - Discover the delights of an afternoon tea break at various locales in the area.

Luncheon Out - Enjoy sampling area restaurants while getting acquainted with other Newcomers.

Wine Exploration - Meet 4-5 times during the year on Saturday evenings.  Participate in blind tasting of specific wines while enjoying the comopany of other Newcomers.

Networking and Relaxation:

Golf-Ladies' League - Join a friendly 9- or 18-hole golf league that plays weekly and offers monthly scrambles. It runs from April through October only.
 
Up to Five Walking Group - For those who love to exercise in the great outdoors.  Explore New Jersey's recreational areas, make new friends, and get a great workout.
 
Wednesday Walkers - The walking group is for all those who want to get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the beautiful surroundings we live in. No hiking shoes needed!
 
 

Finding Home - Led by experienced facilitators, small group sessions focus on the relocation process to help you feel settled and happy in your new community.

Networking Newcomvers of Princeton - Help us expand our Networking/Referrals site.  This site will help you spread the word about your finds, and help you find the things you're looking for.

Stress Relief and Relaxation - You will be taught simple, self-help techniques to relieve stress and help you relax.  Stress interferes with optimum health.  Why not let go of it?
