interest groups

“Bloom Where You Are Planted”

The heart of the Princeton Newcomers Club comes from its wealth of diverse interest groups. Here, members can make new friends while they explore areas of interest, pick up a new hobby or explore the amazing resources in the Princeton area. As a member, you are entitled to participate each month in any or all of the activities planned by the interest groups you wish to attend. Signing up for an activity one month does not obligate you to continue with that group throughout the year. The interest groups list below is categorized to help you match your personal interests. Please refer to our current newsletter for specific information.

There are quite a few fantastic groups, but maybe your interest is not represented? How about starting a new interest group? It’s very easy and we can help you get started. Members are always invited to start a new group or revive an inactive group.

You may sign up for any interest group activity at the Friday with Friends or by calling the interest group chairperson. If you cannot attend the Friday with Friends, the monthly newsletter will provide information so you can sign up over the phone. If you are not a member and would like to become one, please refer to the Membership page of this web site.

The following is a brief description of each of the many Newcomers Club activities in which you may participate. Our list of interest groups may change as new ones may be added.
