Chief Executive Officer: Judy Hutton

Judith Donohoe Hutton became the YWCA Princeton’s new Chief Executive Officer, the position formerly titled Executive Director.
Judy brings to the YWCA more than 20 years of experience as Executive Director of Anchor House, Inc., in Trenton. During that time, she took a fledgling organization with a tiny budget, tiny staff, and very few volunteers to a nationally known, $2 million a year, multi-service agency for runaway, homeless, abused youth and their families.
In Mercer County and beyond, her strong record of leadership, management, fundraising, and community relations is held in high regard, notes YWCA Princeton Board President Miquelon Weyeneth. “We are delighted that Judith has come on board, and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
As a volunteer, Ms. Hutton is a peer monitor and trainer for the Administration of Youth and Families in the US Department of Health and Human Services, implementing a curriculum she developed for national use in 1995. She is president of the Garden State Coalition for Youth and Family Concerns, Inc., an organization that advocates for youth and family issues with governmental and community organizations. She also is a member of the Mercer County Child Care Coalition and Mercer County Youth Services Commission. In 2004, she was named Mercer County Professional of the Year.
In her heart, Judy has always been a YW woman. One of her first jobs, fresh out of college, was as a counselor at the YWCA in Trenton. Although she wasn’t looking for a change, her fiery passion for the YWCA mission nudged her to answer our call, and we are so very glad she did.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for me to continue to serve an organization in whose missionto eliminate racism and empower womenI believe passionately,” says Ms. Hutton. “I look forward to becoming a part of the YWCA Princeton, and helping to chart its course in the future.”
Judy holds a BSW degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, an MEd from The College of New Jersey, and certificates in several disciplines from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Bordentown with her husband Craig and 15 year old son, Sean, a freshman at Notre Dame High School.
