Why walk, run, or ride…when you can paddle to support local women and families affected by breast cancer. Experience the excitement and emotion of dragon boat racing first hand! No experience or equipment needed!
The Machestic Dragons Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team will host community and survivor crews in a day of races, ceremonies, dragon boat rides, music, entertainment, and dragon boating displays. Teams will compete by divisions, including breast cancer survivors, club women, club mixed, community women, educators, and community fitness challenge. Dragon boats, life jackets, paddles, and practices are all provided. Register as an individual and you’ll be placed on a team, as a small group and you’ll be joined with others to form a team, or as a team of 20 to fill your own dragon boat. Each participant/team will get one coached practice prior to race day.
Proceeds from this event will be donated to the YWCA Princeton Breast Cancer Resource Center to support their free information and support programs for local women and families affected by breast cancer.
Team entry fee: $900 per team, $50 late fee after June 1, $50 per individual if registering alone or as a small group. Entry fee includes 2 races, 1 coached practice, and equipment.
