Why walk, run, or ride…when you can paddle to support local women and families affected by breast cancer. Experience the excitement and emotion of dragon boat racing first hand! No experience or equipment needed! The Machestic Dragons Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team will host community and survivor crews in a day of races, ceremonies, dragon boat rides, music, entertainment, and dragon boating displays. Teams will compete by divisions, including Women, Youth, Club, Open, and Breast Cancer Survivors. Dragon boats, life jackets, paddles, and practices are all provided. Register as an individual and we’ll place you on a team, as a small group and we’ll merge you with others to form a team, or as a group of 20 to fill your own dragon boat. Each participant/team will get one coached practice prior to race day. Dragon boat rides will be offered to spectators during the day for a donation to the Breast Cancer Resource Center.
